During the swim season, we will offer swim practices during some of the Holidays and Teacher Workdays when Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) will be closed.
Inclement Weather Policy:
- For PM Swim Practices, we will decide by 4:00pm regarding swim practices the evening of possible Inclement Weather.
- For AM Swim Practices, we will decide by 9:00pm regarding swim practice the next morning of possible Inclement Weather.
When a decision is made, we will send an email to the specific swim groups that are affected. We will contact the YMCA, and inform the Aquatics Office and the Front Desk. Please do not contact the YMCA before the listed times above. (Please be aware that we may cancel swim practice, but the YMCA may still be open.)
