Upcoming Meets and BASS Hoodies

Hey BASS Families,

There are two upcoming meets I want to get out to you all as well as let you know that we are now selling BASS hoodies for anyone interested!

BASS Candy Corn Fun Meet - The first meet is a BASS Mock Meet.  This Mock Meet will have all 3 different BASS satellites in attendance.  It is completely free and I would love to see as many attend as possible.  You do NOT have to be a USA Swimming registered athlete to participate in this meet.  The meet is this sunday so the entries are due online very soon.  The entries must be submitted this friday the 27th so get them in ASAP.  I am sorry for the later notice on this!  More info on warmup times for this meet will come out soon.

BASS Turkey Classic - This is a meet that BASS hosts each year.  This is an official USA Swim meet so swimmers must be a USA Swimming registered athlete to participate.  It is a local meet in Richmond and is in the 2008 Olympic Trials pool which is very fast and fun to swim in.  I hope to see you all at this meet!  The registration deadline for this meet is on November 5th. On a side note, refer to the bottom section of an email I sent earlier this season HERE if you have questions about USA Swimming registration.  You can always email me with questions as well.

Instructions on registering for meets:

  1. Go to https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/vsfast/page/calendar#/team-events/upcoming or go to the team events tab.
  2. Click on "Edit Commitment"
  3. Select your swimmer's name and select "Yes, Please sign name up for this event"
  4. You will see the events pop up below, be sure to take note of which day and session each event is on.
  5. Click "save changes" in the bottom right of the page when you are done selecting your events.

BASS Hoodies - We have added BASS Hoodies to the google form that had the tee shirts on it previously.  The google form to purchase our BASS Shirts and Hoodies can be seen HERE or on the website under the team store tab.
