2022 TTSC Holiday Invitational

 

On the 9th and 10th of December, 31 of our swimmers represented the Golds Aquatics Club in the TTSC Holiday Invitational. Together they swam 129 events, and 104 of them were best times resulting in an 80% improvement. Way to go, GAC, you make us proud!

Thank you to all the parents that represent our team by officiating and volunteering. You are a great example to our swimmers!

 

Hudson Barros- Swam in 3 events, all of which were best times. Hudson dropped 18 seconds in the 200 Butterfly and placed 2nd overall.

Henry Butler- Swam in 6 individual and 2 relays. Henry achieved best times in the 100 Backstroke, 50 freestyle, 100 Individual Medley, and 100 Freestyle. Henry also took home third place in the 100 Backstroke.

Gracey Goodwin- Swam in 3 individual and 1 relay. Gracey swam the 100 Backstroke and 100 Breaststroke for the first time and dropped 8 seconds in the 100 Individual Medley, earning her third place overall.

Lily Grabenkort- Swam in 3 races, dropped 2 seconds in the 50 freestyle and 7 seconds in the 50 Butterfly. Lily also swam close to her best time in the 100 Individual Medley.

Lainey Hajek- Swam in her first swim meet and had an excellent performance in the 100 Backstroke, where she showed a lot of confidence and determination. 

Haylee Hardin- Swam in 3 individual events and 1 relay. Haylee placed first in the 100 Butterfly and second in the Medley relay.

Jamie Harris- Swam 5 individual events and 1 relay. She placed 3rd in the relay, achieved 3 best times, dropped an impressive 10 seconds in the 200 Backstroke, and placed second in the 500 Freestyle.

Paige Harvey- Swam in 3 events. Paige placed second in the 25 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle. She also dropped one second in the 25 Freestyle.

Owen Jacobs- Swam in 3 individual and 1 relay. He got a best time in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke and placed first in the 200-Medley relay.

Sophie Jacobs- Swam in 6 individual events and 1 relay. She finished with third place, 4 best times, a 13-second drop in 200 Freestyle, 5-second drop in the 100 Breaststroke, and an impressive 18-second drop in the 500 Freestyle. Go, Sophie!

Faith Knoeppel- Swam in 6 individual events and 2 relays. Fait placed 3rd in the medley and placed 2nd in the 100 Freestyle. She also got bests times in the 100 Backstroke and 50 Breaststroke. 

Aarnav Krishna- Swam in 4 events, 3 individual and 1 relay in which he finished in 2nd place. Aarnav placed 1st in the 100 Butterfly, placed 3rd in 100 Freestyle, and placed 2nd in the 200 Breaststroke. 

Agastya Krishna- Swam in 3 individual events and one relay. Agastya placed second in his relay, achieved a best time in the 50 Breaststroke, a best time in the 100 Freestyle, and close to a best time in the 50 Backstroke.

Dash LeGrand- Swam his very first meet with great courage and determination. Dash swam the 25 Butterfly, 25 Breaststroke, and 50 Backstroke.

Ethan LeGrand- Swam in 6 individual events and 2 relays. Ethan’s relays took home first and second place. All 6 of Ethan’s individual events were best times, including a notable first place finish in the 100 Backstroke.

Sam LeGrand- Swam in 6 events, 5 of them were very close to his best times. Sam dropped 1.47 seconds in the 100 Butterfly resulting in a first-place finish. 

Jeremy Lu- Swam in 3 individual and one relay. Jeremy’s relay finished first place and achieved best times in all his individual events.

Luna McMahon- Swam in 6 individual events and one relay. Luna’s relay placed third overall, she achieved 5 best times, and got a state time in the 50 Breaststroke.

Caroline Oates- Swam in 6 individual and 1 relay that placed second overall. Caroline got 4 best times, a state time in the 50 Backstroke, 100 Backstroke, and 200 Individual Medley.

Travis Oates- Swam in 6 individual events and one relay that finished in second place. Travis achieved 4 best times, including an impressive 10 second drop in the 200 Breaststroke.

Kai Raimo- Swam in 6 events, achieved 3 second places, 1 third place, 1 fourth place, and 1 fifth place. Kai also achieved best times in the 50 Breaststroke and 100 Freestyle

Daniel Ren- Swam in 6 individual events and 2 relays. Daniel’s relays took home first and second place. Daniel achieved best times in all his events, including an impressive 11 second drop in the 100 Breaststroke.

Isabel Ren- Swam in 6 individual events and one relay that finished in the third pace. Isabel dropped 2 seconds in the 100 Breaststroke and 5 seconds in the 200 Backstroke.

Mason Strogen- Swam in 3 events, all of which were best times. He also dropped an impressive 47 seconds in the 200 Freestyle.

Reidun Voss- Swam in 3 individual events and one relay that finished in the third place. Reidun came very close to her best times in all her individual events. Good job Reidun!

Owen Yam- Swam in 5 individual events and 2 relays. Owen’s relays placed first and second overall. Owen got best times in the 100 Breaststroke and in the 100 Backstroke. Owen also took home first place in the 200 Individual Medley!

Eric Zhan- Swam in 1 individual event and 1 relay which finished first place overall. Eric also swam in the 100 Breaststroke, placing first place and earning a best time of 1:05.99.

Brian Zhang- Swam 6 events and got best time in the 100 Breaststroke and the 50 Freestyle.

Eric Zhang- Swam 6 events, achieved 3 best times, and dropped 3 seconds in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke.

Katherine Zhang- Swam in 6 individual events and 2 relays that finished second and third place. Katherine achieved 5 best times, including a new Oregon State Record in the 100 Individual Medley and 3 new club records. 

Winston Zhang- Swam in 6 individual events and 2 relays that finished second and first place. Winston took home first place in all 6 of his individual events. Good job Winston!
