COACH'S CORNER Hello Seals, April is a big month for us! The bubble comes down, we wrap up short course meets, and I celebrate my anniversary coaching the Seals—18 years completed and starting year 19. The current group of kids is one of the most fun I’ve coached so far. We had a fantastic meet at the Kaholo Classic in March. Congratulations to all our swimmers, especially our first-time competitors: Kristian Greenidge, Declan Johannessen (youngest swimmer in the meet), Eloise Johannessen, Brooks Johnson, Iris Lee, and Ruby Lee. Special shoutout to swimmers with Top-5 finishes: Guillermo Dinares Cardenal (1st in 25 Breast), Duncan Kellogg (multiple backstroke finishes), Ruby Lee (3rd in 25 Back), and Gus McSheehy (multiple butterfly finishes). Up next is the Mark Olson Classic at Curtis High School on April 26-27. Sign up now on our website! And if you’re not attending, please declare your status online. Once the bubble comes down, we’ll swim every day—even in rain! However, if visibility is poor due to heavy rain or storms, sessions may be canceled. We’ll notify you as early as possible if this happens. |
