The Vashon Seals Swim Team is proud to offer a supplemental scholarship program that builds on the foundation set by the Vashon Park District Scholarship. When a swimmer’s Parks scholarship reaches its end, the Seals scholarship can help bridge the gap, ensuring uninterrupted access to swimming opportunities for our athletes.
How it works
The Seals Scholarship covers:
Six months of monthly fees
Scholarships are awarded based on the same financial guidelines as the Vashon Park District Scholarship:
50% scholarship
: For families qualifying under USDA “Reduced Price Meal” guidelines.
75% scholarship
: For families qualifying under USDA “Free Meal” guidelines.
Evidence of need is simply the confirmation from the Parks Department that you have applied for, and utilized their program!
