📝 Volunteer Hours: Track & Confirm

To make sure we accurately track all volunteer hours, we’ve created a quick and easy Volunteer Hours Confirmation Form. If you’ve helped out, please take a moment to fill it out—your time and effort make a huge difference!

Volunteer Commitment Reminder

Each family is asked to contribute 15 hours of volunteer time per year (September–August).

This year, you can meet this requirement by volunteering or by paying $20 per hour (or a flat fee of $300), which will be charged at the end of August if hours aren’t met. This policy was outlined in your registration agreement.

💬 Message from Our President

It has been a great joy and privilege to serve on the Vashon Seals Board of Directors for the past five years, including the last two as president. As my son, Gus, graduates and begins a new chapter, I’m reflecting with deep gratitude on all that this team has meant to us. Gus has been with the Seals for the past seven years, and during that time, I’ve watched him grow not just as an athlete, but as a thoughtful, resilient, and compassionate young man. The lessons he’s learned—both in and out of the pool—have been invaluable, and I’m especially grateful to Randy for his steady guidance and support. Being part of this team has brought us incredible friendships, unforgettable memories, and a true sense of community. While I will deeply miss being part of the Seals, I know the team is in wonderful hands with our new president, Sean Waldron. I’ll be cheering from the sidelines, forever proud to have been a Vashon Seal.
