If you are unsure what class to sign your child up for, we have a few options to help determine your child’s swim level! Please do not register your child for a class without ensuring it is the correct level, we have very limited availability to move students if they are in the wrong class!

(Note: if you took lessons at WW pool during summer 2023, and cannot remember your child's swim level, you can email the lesson coordinator to look it up for you: [email protected]) 

Option 1: Swim level questionnaire

Swim level questionnaire: WE WILL ADD THIS FORM CLOSER TO THE START OF THE SUMMER SWIM SEASON

We recommend starting by filling out the swim level questionnaire! Please fill it out for each child individually. This information will remain private and the swim lesson coordinator (Julie Lockhart) will follow up to help determine your child's swim level. After reviewing your form, if the swim lesson coordinator is unable to determine the best level for your child, she may recommend going to Wedgwood swim club for an person for a swim test. However many of the swim levels can easily be determined with a few simple questions!

Option 2: Swim Placement Test at Wedgwood Swim Club

If we are unable to determine your child’s level using the swim lesson questionnaire, you can go to Wedgwood Swim Club for an in-person swim placement test.

Summer, 2026 Session Dates:

• Session 1: June 22nd-July 2nd 
• Session 2: July 6th-16th 
• Session 3: July 20th-30th 
• Session 4: August 3rd-13th 
• Session 5: August 17th-20th (1 week session)

Summer 2026 Lesson Registration Dates (Registration for ALL lesson sessions and swim team seasons opens on the dates listed below!)

• Member: Saturday, January 31st at 8am
• Non-Member previous: Saturday, February 7th at 8am
• Non-member: Saturday, February 14th at 8am

Important registration change for summer 2025: Registration for Sessions 1 & 2 opens in February, 2025 (see table for exact dates!). Please register your child(ren) for the same level for Sessions 1 and 2. We can adjust the level after the first session based on progress made.

Note- Making an account with go motion: You will only be able to make an account with go motion once registration is open. When registration opens for session 1 on June 4th at 9am you will be able to select the classes you want and add them to your cart. Then, when you go to check out and pay, the system will prompt you to make an account

• Non-member group lessons: $115 per session (8 lessons total)
  • Session 5 prorated to $57.50 (1 week session)
• Member group lessons: $85 per session (8 lessons total)
  • Session 5 prorated to $42.50 (1 week session)
