Gators brave the weather and swim at J-Hawk's Winter Thaw at Whitewater

 

13& Over and 8 &Under swam the Saturday AM Sprint events we had:

(2) 13&Over Emma Gowdy 13,  Annika Folk 13

(3) 8&Under. Everett Ramirez 7, Kinsley Huffman 8, Finnley Daniels 8

 

 

9-12 year olds swam the Saturday PM Sprint events we had: 

Charlotte Stuessy (10), Anneliese Ramirez (11), Brynleigh Wellman (11), Barrett Berg (12)

 

 

The was the first meet for  Finnley Daniels and  Charlotte Stuessy. Daniels took 5th place in the Girls 8&Under 25 Yard Free with a time of 23.23 and Stuessy placed 5th in the Girls 9-12, 25 yard Back and 6th in the Mixed 9-12, 25 yard Free.

 

Berg swam his best 50 yard Freestyle time of 32.09, dropping -10.40 and placing 2nd in Boys11-12, also taking second in Boys 11-12 50 yard Back and 3rd in 50 yard Breast.

 

Wellman swam 3 personal best, dropping -3.96 in the Girls 11-12 50 yard Free with a time of 33.57 taking 4th place and taking 1st places in (38.88 in Girls 11-12 50 yard Backstroke) and  (1:31.52 in the Mixed 9-12 100 yard IM) 

 

Everett Ramirez finished 1st place in Boys 8&Under 25 yard Freestyle.

 

Anneliese Ramirez also had personal best in the Girls 11-12 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 40.42 (-17.61), Mixed 9-12 25 yard Fly time of 22.20 (-14.62) placing 4th in the Fly, She also placed 6th in the Mixed 9-12 10 yard IM with a time of 1:38.78.

 

Annika Folk swam personal best in all three individual events swimming 33.12 (-0.55) Girls 13 & Over 50 yard Freestyle placing 4th,  41.67 (-1.71) Girls 13 & Over 50 yard Breaststroke, 42.39 placing 1st,  (-0.17) Girls 13& Over 50 yard Fly placing 3rd.

 

Emma Gowdy swam the Girls 13 & Over 50 yard Backstroke and took 3rd place and the Girls 13& Over 100 yard Breaststroke taking 2nd place

 

Kinsley Huffman took 2nd places in three events, the Girls 8&Under 25 yard Fly (27.02),  Mixed 8& Under 50 yard Free (44.09) and the Girls 8& Under 25 yard Free (20.23)
