Gators attending state for the first time in 4 years!
The Gators swim team is excited to announce that they will be going to state for the first time in four years! This team has been practicing hard and will be sending 20 swimmers to the Walter Schroeder aquatic center in Brown Deer, WI.
Team members must participate in an exclusive YMCA swim meet and receive a qualifying time to enter the YMCA state tournament. GCY Gators team members with qualifying times are Kinsley Huffman (8) swam in the 25-yard back crawl her time was 23.16 seconds; she also swam the 25 freestyle her time was 19.56 seconds, 50 freestyle 40.94. Barrett Berg (11) swam in the 50 freestyle 30.42, 50 breaststroke 41.24. Silas Berg (7) swam 25 breaststroke 33.87, the 25 Freestyle 20.31, and the 25 butterfly 22.59. Nolan Berg (8) swam the 25 freestyle 20.40. Finnley Daniels (8) swam the 25 butterfly 23.56. Everett Ramirez (7) swam the 25 breaststrokes 31.27, 25 backstroke 22.70, and 25 freestyle 21.53. Olivia Hustad swam the 25 freestyle 20.60.

The tournament will be March 15-17. They will be wearing green camo shirts with the Gators signs on them. The team is hoping many friends will show up to cheer us on. If you do come wear a green shirt, bring your Gators spirit, and a smile on your face!
