MAC History

MAC is a coached owned and coach run team, which was founded by Shane, Carly (Piper) Ryan and Janis Katz in April of 2015.

MAC was recognized a Bronze Medal Team through USA Swimming's Club Excellence Program in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, in just two years of existence, MAC took 2nd Place at both 12&U and 13&O Short Course State Championships. Then again took 2nd place in 2018 both 12&U and 13&O Short Course State Championships. In 2019 MAC won their first Wisconsin State 12&U Short Course Championship and 13&O Short Course Championship.

The Madison Aquatic Club was a prominent club team in the Madison area in the 1970's through the late 1990's before the club was dissolved in 1998. Our goal is to continue the tradition of excellence under the "MAC" name in the Madison area.
