WELCOME COACH JILL
Hi! My name is Jill, and I’m a senior at UW-Madison studying Genetics and Biology, with plans to attend dental school in the future. I swam competitively from age 7 to 18, focusing mostly on the 200 and 400 IM in my later years, and breaststroke has always been my favorite stroke. One of the best parts of my swimming experience was the strong team camaraderie—I loved being part of a supportive environment where teammates pushed each other to improve while having fun along the way. As a coach, my philosophy is centered on building strong strokes through proper technique, while emphasizing dedication and hard work as the foundation of success. I believe that with the right mindset and attention to detail, swimmers can continue to improve and reach their full potential. I’m passionate about staying active, fostering teamwork, and making swimming an enjoyable and rewarding experience for every athlete. I’m excited to be part of the Wave coaching team and I look forward to helping swimmers develop their skills and grow both in and out of the pool!
REMINDERS!
TEAM HANDBOOK
Remember that the Team Handbook is your best resource for all things Wave. Please make yourself familiar with this dynamic document! It holds so much information about our amazing swim program.
ANNUAL CELEBRATION – ADDITIONAL HELP STILL NEEDED!!!!
Save the date of May 18th for our annual team celebration, likely late afternoon timeframe!
We thank the several parents that have stepped forward to assist in planning and executing the event, but are STILL seeking a few additional Wave parents. This is a great opportunity for parents who want to help support the team, but are unable to make the year-round commitment to other roles within the program. Please reach out to the Admin, if interested.
