Welcome to Laramie Swim Club

Established in 1969, Laramie Swim Club (LSC) is comprised of both the Swim America lessons and USA Swimming competitive club. The Swim America program is designed to teach youth swimming skills until they reach proficiency. Once proficiency is reached, a swimmer is eligible to participate in swim club to further develop their skills.

LSC encourages youth of all levels and abilities to participate in Swim America and club swimming. The club goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can improve their swimming skills and abilities. Developing team spirit, individual pride, and sportsmanship are also essential components of our program. Our club is committed to serving all levels of swimmers whether it be to gain confidence in the water, improve swimming skills, or compete competitively.

LSC is a non-profit organization run by an elected Board of Directors. LSC operates year round and is an affiliate of USA and Wyoming Swimming. USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States. It is a service organization that promotes the culture of swimming by creating opportunities for swimmers and coaches of all backgrounds to participate and advance in the sport through teams, events, and education. All of LSC coaches, competitive swimmers, officials, and board of directors are USA Swimming members and follow the USA Swimming codes of conduct and Safe Sport practices.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact a LSC board member or coach. All members are welcome at monthly board meetings and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
