Hi Wahoos Swimmers and Families,
The Wahoos were back in action for the first time in 2026 this past weekend with the WYW Winter invitational. Super Bronze swimmers were invited to participate in their first full-weekend meet, and many other swimmers had the chance to race “off” events that they may not get to compete in as often. Others had a chance to compete in their primary events, with some new best times and championship meet cuts being secured as well! Snow throughout the weekend added to the excitement. Thank you to everyone who braved the elements to be with us on deck this past weekend! HUGE thank you to all of our officials, timers, and meet workers who helped us provide a great competition for the Wahoos and visiting teams.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT DEADLINE APPROACHING:
A friendly reminder that our next deadline for Team Development is January 30, 2026! Members who have opted to participate in the Team Development Program must have begun their team development efforts by 1/30/2026. Those who have not begun team development will be billed on 2/1/2026.

Complete THIS FORM HERE with your stamped receipt totals and 7.5% of your receipt will go back to our team! YEARBOOK PHOTO COLLECTION:
Each year, we create a yearbook to commemorate the accomplishments and successes of the team. We are looking for photo contributions for this years’ yearbook! Within the next 24 Hours, you will be invited to join a Share Folder for your swimmers’ squad. There, you can submit any candid photos you have of your swimmers- Bonus points for photos of groups of swimmers together! Only emails that are in your SportsEngine Accounts will have access, and you will only have access to the squads that your swimmer is a part of.
Links to each folder will be shared in the Squad SportsYOU pages as well.

UPCOMING CHANGE DEADLINES: Make changes to your swimmers events, which sessions they are swimming, or remove them from sessions/meets by this deadline. After the Change Deadline, swimmers are entered into the meet and families are responsible for splash fees.

WILTON HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR NIGHT/YOUTH SPORTS NIGHT:
Join us on Wednesday, February 11 for Wilton High School Youth Sports Night as the Warriors take on Darien for Senior Night! Meet Starts at 3:40pm, Senior Celebration will start at 4:15pm. Raffles, Ice Cream, and Fun! Wear Blue and support Wilton Boys Swim and Dive!
CHAMPIONSHIP MEET TIME STANDARDS:
A number of meets on our meet schedule require swimmers to qualify to compete. Swimmers must achieve a minimum time standard in order to participate in these events. Time Standards for CT Age Group Championships, Senior Championships, YMCA Nationals, ISCA Elite Showcase, and Zones are available.

ISCA Elite Showcase March 31-April 4
Eastern Zone Championships April 1-4
YMCA National Championships March 3-April 3
