3/3/2024 Letter From Coach Jace

James Young

Sailfish swimmers and parents,

We had a great showing at the Carver Center and WFSL Championships. Our swimmers did a great job supporting each other and making countless improvements in their races. We also had numerous personal bests and additional state qualifying times, a high point runner-up at WFSL Champs (Congratulations Sean Caulfield), and WFSL Champions Arianna Francis(50 Breast) and Sean Caulfield (25 Breast). We also had two second place relays: the 18 and under Boys 200 free relay and the 10 and under Girls 200 Medley Relay. Special thanks to Ashley Cho, swimming both sessions allowing us to have 11-12 and 13-14 girls relays.

We are looking forward to our clinic on Saturday and Sunday March 23rd and March 24th witht Genadijus Sokolovas Ph.D. Affectionately known as Dr. G in the swimming world, Dr G works with the best athletes in swimming, and is excited to work with our team.An itenarary will be shared for the clinic in the upcoming week.

Also, we have YMCA State Championships March 15-17th at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in Long Island We have a number of Athletes competing and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me at [email protected] .

I may have more information to share, but I will have to include that in a follow-up: thank you everyone for supporting our swimmers, bringing them to the meet, timing, and supporting our coaches.

best,

Coach Jace
