Amy Wang

Amy Wang (16) has swum for Seattle for more than seven years and currently attends Lakeside School in Seattle, Washington. She competed as part of the 2019, 2021, and 2022 USA National Teams, taking home bronze medals in combo and team at the 2022 FINA Youth World Championships as well as a team high point award. In 2021, she won gold at the Youth and Junior International Open in team, and in 2019 placed third in team at the UANA Pan-American Games. Recently, she won gold in the 15-17 solo free, solo tech, and 16-19 combo categories at the 2023 Junior Olympics. In 2022, she won silver in figures at Youth Nationals and placed first in figures, 5th in team, and 8th in duet at West Zones. In 2021, she placed 7th in both figures and solo free, and 8th in combo at Junior Olympics.

When she's not swimming, Amy is also an avid writer who enjoys working with younger kids. Recently, she's been training as a crisis line worker and is set to begin shifts September 2023.

Sophia Wendt

Sophia was first introduced to artistic swimming at nine years old. In 2022, Sophia received the West Zone athlete of the year. Recently, she attended the 2023 JO's and brought home a gold medal in 16-19 combo routine, a bronze medal in the 15-17 tech solo, as well as getting 4th place in free solo. Sophia helps as a volunteer coach at Seattle Synchro summer camps and also leads the synchro summer camp with Pro Sports Club.

In high school, Sophia participates in the Cambridge program, which focuses on thinking critically, and with rigor, about a wide variety of perspectives on global issues. With this, she has reached level two in American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish studies. In her free time, she likes to read murder mystery books and cook or bake for her family.
