This is an open book test. You will need the USA Synchro Rulebook and the FINA Judges Manual. 
You will need a 90% to pass. You should study the following areas before taking the course & the test.


Figures – Study & Know:
 General Regulations & Guidelines, in Rulebook 
 Basic Body Positions, in Rulebook 
 Basic Transitions and Movements – including Thrusts 
 All Novice and Intermediate/12 & Un Age Group Figures
 Fundamental Criteria of figure execution.
 Difficulty in transitions in figures (FINA Manual)
 The differences between Design and Control
 Evaluation of Figure Performance (which swimmer is better?)
 FINA Manual Height Chart
**Figure questions will be limited to the figures listed for the 2017-2021 Quadrennium.
