Riptide is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional and compassionate coaching for swimmers ages 5-19. Our two dedicated pools at Flatirons CAC and external rentals allow us to offer a fantastic training schedule for all ages. 

At 2025 SCY and LCM Age Group State Championships, we finished as STATE CHAMPIONS in the Medium-sized Teams division.  We have over 20+ swimmers qualified to compete at the Sectionals, Futures, or Junior Nationals level.  We have launched many swimmers onto swim at the collegiate level.  Coaches Jen and Jonathan were awarded 2024 Age Group Coaching Staff of the Year by Colorado Swimming.

Our team values are Compassion, Excellence, and Growth Mindset.  Our goal is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at their level of ability, from novice to elite competitor. We expect participation in swim meets for all athletes. 

All Riptide Coaches, as members of USA Swimming, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. Our coaches offer experience coaching at club, high school, and collegiate levels and have shown proven results. They also value each swimmer as an individual and aim to build a mutually respectful relationship with each one.

We offer strength training, nutrition education, sports psychology training, and personalized goal setting meetings at an age appropriate level...all included in team dues!  We are also the most affordable team in Boulder County.
