Brandon Hullings– Head Coach

Brandon Hullings has spent the better part of the last fifteen years in aquatics. After a successful swimming career which saw him earn Scholastic All-American Honors at The Pennington School and the 2010-2011 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Team National Championship at Denison University, he returned home to help develop The Pennington School Aquatics Program and lead the New Jersey Stingrays Swim Team. Brandon helped guide both the Pennington Middle School Swim Team and the Pennington Water Polo program to championships in their respective sports.  Additionally, Brandon coached over twenty Pennington School Varsity record holders including four of Pennington's five All-American performers. After eight seasons with the New Jersey Stingrays which saw the program transform from a casual team to annually producing Junior National qualifiers and finalists, Brandon transitioned to Senior Coach at the Eastern Express Swim Club before arriving at George School as Director of Aquatics.

 


 

Ginna Lewing – Lead Developmental & Age Group Coach

Ginna Lewing has spent much of her life in and around the swimming pool as a swimmer, lifeguard, coach, swim lesson instructor and pool manager. As a youth, she swam for NRG swimming, Brookside Swim Club, and Pennsbury High School. Ginna was a talented age group swimmer and high school athlete, competing at the District and State levels in field hockey, swimming and soccer. As a Pennsbury Falcon, she won a PIAA State soccer championship in 1999 and was a State runner up during her senior year in 2000. Ginna is extremely passionate about her two favorite sports, swimming and soccer, and has spent her adult life coaching at the collegiate, high school and club levels. 

Ginna is a USA swimming certified coach. She has 25 years of swim coaching experience, with the majority of those years spent on the Brookside swim club and George School pool decks. Throughout her career as a swim coach, Ginna has worked with numerous swimmers who qualified and medaled at major competitions including Junior Olympics, Eastern Zones, Senior Champs, Junior Nationals, Sectionals, YMCA Nationals and PA HS Districts and States. 

Ginna is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she played four years of Division I collegiate soccer as an undergraduate.  Following her playing career, she served there as the top assistant coach for the next 9 years during which she worked on her Masters degree. Ginna is currently the Associate Director of Athletics at George School.  She is also our Lead Coach of the Developmental & Age Groups of GSA, as well as a Varsity Assistant Swim Coach and the Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach. 
 


 

Will Freeman – Lead Junior Group Coach

Will started swimming at a young age, taking lessons at 4 years old and then becoming a competitive summer swimmer from ages 6-18.  He swam for various club teams across South Jersey and was a four-year varsity swimmer at The Pennington School. After a successful career at Pennington, Will competed for Dickinson college as a breaststroke and IM specialist, graduating as a two-time captain, four-time all-conference honors, and a total of five team records. 

Will began his coaching career with the Tri-County Swim Association in South Jersey. He started as an assistant at Tavistock Swim Club and then moved back to his childhood team, Wedgewood Swim Club, during the summers between semesters in college.  

Following a brief break from coaching to pursue a career in software development, Will returned to the pool deck as an assistant for GSA in the fall of 2021. Will is the lead coach for our Junior group and assists all groups on the team. In addition to GSA, Will works as a lifeguard, varsity swim coach, and dorm parent for George School.  

 



Olivia Kochis – Assistant Coach

Olivia has been around a pool her entire life. Before she could even swim, she was jumping into the pool because she loved the water. She swam for New Jersey Stingrays Swim Team; Brandon Hullings was her coach! She was a four-year varsity athlete and team captain for Hopewell Valley Central High School. Olivia continued her swimming career as a Division III swimmer at Dickinson College.

Olivia has always had a passion for swimming and teaching others how to swim safely and efficiently. Olivia has three years of coaching experience. She was the co-head coach of Hopewell Valley Gold Club, leading The Harpoons to Division 1 status after being a Division III PASDA team for several years. During this time, she was also providing private swim lessons to develop basic skills and/or refine stroke technique.

Additionally, Olivia is pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is focused on promoting mental health in athletes. Olivia is youth mental health first aid certified. Having fun, staying physically and mentally healthy, and learning are her hopes for each athlete every season.


 


 

Matt Michenfelder – Assistant Coach

Matthew Michenfelder has been involved with swimming for many years dating back to 2010 when he joined a summer team called the Twin Rivers Torpedoes. He then quickly moved on to club swimming with the program New Jersey Stingrays where he competed at Speedo Sectionals in 2018 & 2019. At the same time, Matt competed with his high school team at Hightstown High School. There he became a 3-time varsity letter winner and a 3-time 100-point club member. Matt finished his swimming career at Lycoming College where he was selected as team captain his junior and senior year.

Now he continues his passion for swimming through coaching. Matt spent the summers of 2022 and 2023 coaching the Community Park Bluefish summer team. He is excited to now be an assistant coach at George School Aquatics and share his knowledge and experience. 

 


 

Madison Schluchterer – Assistant Coach

Madison Schluchterer returned to the Bucks County area in 2020 after completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education at Butler University. She also attained a degree in English as a Second Language, Health and PE, and minored in Sport Coaching. Madison received her Master’s in Special Education at DeSales University in 2022.

Madison fell in love with the water at a young age and never looked back. She has been involved in swimming since she was 6 years old. Madison attended Council Rock North High School where she swam on the varsity swim team all 4 years (2012-2016). She was captain of the team her senior year. Madison often swam the 500 free and 100 butterfly as well as the relays. She was a district qualifier all four years and a PIAA state qualifier her freshman and sophomore year. One of her favorite memories of high school swimming was winning a state medal her freshman year.

Madison then went on to swim Division 1 at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the captain of the swim team her senior year at Butler University. Madison’s main events were distance freestyle and the 200 butterfly. She was a Big East Qualifier 2016-2020.

Madison was the assistant men’s and women’s swim coach at Neshaminy High School from 2020-2022, and was the head coach at Bensalem High School for the 2022-2023 season. She was also the head coach at Lawrenceville Swimming Association for five summer seasons from 2017-2021. Madison now fills her summers teaching private swim lessons to kids in the Bucks County area.

Outside of the pool, Madison is a special education teacher at South Hunterdon High School.

 


 

Ted Schueller – Assistant Coach

Coach Ted brings 45 years experience to the pool deck. He has coached high school swimming at three different high schools. He has the most wins as a swim coach coach at both Bensalem High School and Council Rock North High School. Coach Ted has amassed the most wins in girl's swimming in Suburban One League history. He has also coached at the championship level for both USA Swimming and YMCA Swimming. He has coached for such teams as NGR Swimming, Spirit Swimming, and was a co-founder of THY Swimming. He has also coached in the Lower Bucks County Summer League for many years.

Coach Ted is currently coaching at Brookside Swim Team with Coach Ginna where together they have made Brookside into a championship level team. He also coached for Phoenix Swim Club and Newtown Swim Team.  Coach Ted has a deep love and passion for the sport of swimming and is excited to bring all of his years of experience to the pool deck for George School Aquatics.

 


 

Keith Torok – Assistant Coach

Keith has been coaching for nearly a half century at various levels including USS, YMCA, high school, college and Masters including co-founding the THY Swim Team in 2002. He was selected twice to coach the Middle Atlantic Eastern All-Star team. He has coached numerous All Americans, nationally ranked athletes, national champions as well as an Olympic Medalist.  Keith’s athletic achievements include 3-year NCAA All-America honors and being inducted into Bloomsburg University’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008. 

Keith has been married for 43 years with two grown sons who also swam and seven grandchildren, four of whom are already involved in competitive swimming. He is now retired and spends his free time fly fishing and traveling. 

 


 

 
Mike Uchrin – Assistant Coach
 
Coach Mike's passion for swimming goes back many years to training as a young swimmer at a local YMCA. Like many of our swimmers, the sport turned into a life-long commitment which took him on a path toward coaching. He coached for the New Jersey Stingrays USA Club as an assistant coach at first, and eventually became the Co-Head Coach. Through the Stingrays program, Mike has worked with swimmers of all ages and abilities, from age group swimmers up to those at the Junior National level.
 
After coaching for a year with Eastern Express Swimming, he joined the George School coaching staff in 2021. He also has been a long time employee with the Princeton Recreation Department as the Aquatics Director and Head Coach of the Community Park Bluefish summer league team.
 
Off the pool deck, he is a Social Studies teacher at the Hamilton Township Public Schools in New Jersey.
