Developmental Group
This group is primarily composed of swimmers ages 6-10. It is designed for our new and younger swimmers interested in exploring competitive swimming. To be considered for this group, swimmers must be able to complete laps unsupported in the water. Techniques are developed in all four competitive strokes, as well as racing starts and turns. Basic interval training is introduced. USA swimming events are not required at this level, but are strongly encouraged as the season progresses and technical skills are better developed in the water.
