Wow! What a Great Weekend!

Frog Aquatics was well represented at this weekend's 2021 Canyons Cranberry Classic Swim Meet by our beginning to more senior members. For our newest athletes times were officially recorded; for returning swimmers, personal bests were set and seconds were shaved off their times. We hope that you had just as much fun as we did cheering on your swimmer(s), and rejoiced at seeing the look of exhilaration after they finished giving their all in their events. Participating in swim meets is what gives focus and meaning to our practices, by showing them what they have been working so hard for, and giving them a glimpse of what they can achieve in the future.

As coaches, we enjoyed seeing our swimmers face their challenges with nervous jitters, then walk back to us with huge smiles in pure exhaustion from having given their all because they did something they didn't think they could. This is what competing is all about--gaining self confidence and pride. We are so very proud of the hard work and determination shown by every single swimmer this weekend. We hope you have celebrated their victories.

We look forward to getting back to practice this Monday and using what we learned at the meet to help our swimmers get to achieve their next goals, and hope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Remember, the only days we plan to be off through the holiday season are the following dates:

• Thursday, November 25th - Friday, November 26th: Thanksgiving Break
• December 13 - January 4th: Winter Break

Outside of the above dates, we are in the pool (unless otherwise notified) and hope to have our swimmers at as many practices as possible.
