Dr. Martin Luther King and the Right to Swim
Please remember that this Monday, January 17th the pool is closed in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We hope that you take this opportunity to reflect with your swimmers on how people such as MLK have impacted the many things we sometimes take for granted like the right to swim (click to learn more about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and the Right to Swim).
Frog Aquatics was created in an effort to provide all youth 7-18 years of age (who meet prerequisites) in the Antelope Valley opportunities to learn life skills, develop character, and to learn and grow in the sport of swimming. We feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work with each and everyone of our swimmers and we hope that you will continue to help our team grow by referring to us.
This past week our athletes have been getting back into the hang of things, which affords us the opportunity to reset and get back to the basics--fundamentals that help build stronger and faster swimmers. This affords our competitors a chance to have a different mindset when working on skills and sometimes, it helps to make it finally click.
