2023 San Diego Imperial 14-Under Age Group Champs
Congrats to our swimmers who competed March 25th in San Diego. This a one day championship meet for our swimmers outside of the other meet. Swimming all your events in one day is tough making for a long day with lots of energy.
- Aaron Jochimsen (13) took on the 50 free (25.98) and 100 free (58.20) and dropping a second in each event. The 100 breast (1:20.13) dropping 3 seconds and the 200 IM (2:27.68) dropping 5 seconds.
- Levi Mendez (11) swam the 50 free (30.43) dropping 2 seconds, 100 free (1:09.63) dropping 5 seconds, 50 breast (41.88) dropping 2 seconds, 50 fly (40.30) dropping 2 seconds, and the 100 IM (1:18.24) dropping a whopping 4 seconds.
- Alex Palmer (14) swam the 50 free (28.88) dropping 2 seconds and gaining some new times in the 100 back (1:26.40), 100 breast (1:36.44), and the 100 fly (1:34.56)
- Aliana Sachs (12) swam the 100 free (1:07.98) dropping 1 second, 50 fly (35.09) dropping 1 second, and dropping 3 in the 100 IM (1:17.91)
- Natalya Sosa (12) swam the 100 free (1:15.15), 50 breast (44.21), 50 fly (38.12), and the 100 IM (1:24.30) dropping 4 seconds
- Jenna Valle (13) swam the 50 free (29.85), 100 free (1:06.28), 100 back (1:12.89) dropping 2 seconds, and the 100 fly (1:13.46) dropping one
- Millan Vuong (9) took on the sprinting events with the 50 free (48.64), 100 free (1:48.36), 50 back (59.68), 50 fly (1:03.28) dropping 3 seconds, 50 breast (1:21.59) dropping 7 seconds
- Peyton Watkins (12) swam the 100 IM (1:18.64), 50 back (37.41) dropping half a seconds, 50 breast (40.91) dropping 2 seconds
- Her little sister, Jordan Watkins (9), taking on the 50 back (56.57), 50 breast (59.92), and a new time in the 100 IM (1:56.03)
- Maliyah Wemiel (8) kicking butt and taking 1st place in the 25 back (21.32) and the 25 breast (23.24) while dropping 2 seconds in each event. As well as the 50 breast (51.92) dropping 4 seconds and the 100 IM (1:35.20) dropping 3 seconds
