| Hello CAJ Parents, We have our swim meet in Redding at Shasta College on Saturday, May 7th. (Signup). I would like as many swimmers as possible to attend. As I have mentioned before it is very important for the coaches to see the swimmers compete to identify areas that need improving. Senior Group, we will begin morning practices at the PV pool starting May 2, 5:30 am to 7:30 am. The coaches are putting emphasis on stroke development at this point in the season, especially for the Pre-Seniors and Seniors while keeping their yardage up. The MiniJets, White, and Navy continue stroke development for part of each workout Practice this Saturday at Durham Pool. (April 30rd) Pre-Seniors and Senior 11 am-1 pm. White, MiniJets, and Navy 12 pm-1 pm. Practice times in May have not changed for any of the groups for afternoon/evening sessions. Additional Swim Meets We have added two more swim meets (Shasta Sharks and Durham meets) as an option for younger swimmers that may not want to swim Long Course. This additional swim meets will not be on our team calendar but we will send one of our coaches if there are enough swimmers attending.

You can access the form through this link. NEW AQUAJETS: Please Familiarize yourself with our Team Handbook located on the CAJ website under Join the Team. We ask that parents avoid being on deck during practice as it can be distracting to the coaches and the swimmers. NEW SWIMMERS: SIGN CAJ WAIVER AND HAND IT TO YOUR COACH SWIMMER ACCOUNT REMINDER: All swimmer fees are due on the 1st day of each month and are considered late if not received by the 10th. A $10 late fee will be assessed for late payments. Notice of intent to discontinue swimming must be provided to the Chico AquaJets in writing by the 15th of the month before the date of inactivity to cancel monthly fees. Written notice should be provided through the "Contact Us'' button on the CAJ website. Verbal notice to coaches is not sufficient. Any written notice occurring after the 15th of the month before deciding to discontinue will be charged the following month. Any hanging balances left will be billed and payment will be required before any re-registration.
