Hello CAJ Parents,
A special Announcement for this Saturday, June 4th
We are having a voluntary team practice on Saturday, June 4th at PV Pool for ALL Groups. If you are in town, please join us.
The Purpose of this team practice is the following.
EBHB is producing a video on Rec facility development in the area. They were interviewed to talk about the need for pool space and how that would impact CASA. The folks who are producing the video would like to get some footage of our kids in the pool to swim in the background and cover edits. They will be at team practice this Saturday. The production folks are aware that they will need to get waivers for parents to sign so everyone understands how footage of their children might be used.
Although, we will have waivers available on the pool deck during practice (June 4), please understand that it is assumed that you are ok with being a part of this video if your swimmer shows up to practice on Saturday.
Time: 8:30 am – 10:30am; When: June 4th, 2022; Location: PV Pool
There will be a practice, but it will not be for the full 2 hours

Congrats to all swimmers. We are proud of your accomplishments whether it be Graduation, Promotion or simply making it to the end of the year.
We have a couple of swim meets approaching, please sign up. As I mentioned before it's important that the coaches watch swimmers’ races to help us determine areas we need to improve on. The team has a kick-off BBQ at the Elks Lodge next Thursday, June 9th. I would like to see the entire team there. Double workouts will be available for the Senior swimmers starting next week. For the swimmers that are ambitious, it's important that you attend both workouts. I will discuss further details about the workouts at practice.

USA Swimming Registration Renewal - If you haven't yet renewed your swimmer’s USA Swimming Registration for 2022, please do so as soon as possible! You can access the form through this link.
NEW AQUAJETS:
Please Familiarize yourself with our Team Handbook located on the CAJ website under Join the Team.
We ask that parents avoid being on deck during practice as it can be distracting to the coaches and the swimmers.
NEW SWIMMERS: SIGN CAJ WAIVER AND HAND IT TO YOUR COACH
SWIMMER ACCOUNT REMINDER: All swimmer fees are due on the 1st day of each month and are considered late if not received by the 10th. A $10 late fee will be assessed for late payments. Notice of intent to discontinue swimming must be provided to the Chico AquaJets in writing by the 15th of the month before the date of inactivity to cancel monthly fees. Written notice should be provided through the "Contact Us'' button on the CAJ website. Verbal notice to coaches is not sufficient. Any written notice occurring after the 15th of the month before deciding to discontinue will be charged the following month. Any hanging balances left will be billed and payment will be required before any re-registration.
- BE ADVISED: if you discontinue your membership, there are NO spots guaranteed upon return as we continue to operate with a lengthy waiting list. The $65 registration fee will be reassessed upon re-registration.
- CAJ WEBSITE: All members must double-check your Team Unify member account to ensure that your e-mail is correct and verified. We also need you to verify your SMS number, and make sure you use dashes. This will ensure you receive ALL of our communications.
- REMINDER FROM IN MOTION: If families discontinue their In Motion gym membership it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify In Motion that the swimmer is remaining an Aquajet swimmer. We’d also appreciate notification to the team through the “contact us” button so that our bookkeeper and membership coordinators are aware of your IMF membership status. This will assist in smooth entry to the club as well as accurate billing information for CAJ. Thanks!
