News Splash August 4
Good afternoon Aquajets,
Welcome back Aquajets, I hope everyone had a great break! What an excellent end to our Summer season that we had. There were a lot of great races at NVALs, we even had multiple swimmers get SNS Champs cuts! Our team also won the NVAL Team Spirit Award for the third year in a row! A massive thank you to all the parent volunteers that made this summer possible.

COACH’S CORNER
It is time for us to switch back to our Fall Schedule. The schedule can be found on our website under the Aquajet Practice Times tab. At the moment there are no dryland sessions set, but I do plan on adding them after observing the states of the groups for a couple weeks. I will send out the information when I have decided on how much dryland I am going to offer each group. If you have any questions
We have a Chipotle Fundraiser tomorrow Aug 5! The team will get 25% of the sales when using the online code LK6C6YK or when showing the attached flyer at the restaurant. Bowls, burritos, and tacos all contribute to helping out the team, I hope to see a lot of Aquajets there when I go grab my dinner from there as well.
The End of the Summer BBQ is next week on Tuesday at Wildwood Park. The BBQ will start at 5:30pm and last until 7:30pm. We are asking everyone to bring a $5 donation for each person in their party that plans on eating. There will be no Senior or Pre-Senior practice this day to accommodate for the BBQ.
Save the Date: CAJ Fall Pentathlon is Saturday Sep 27 at the PV Pool. We are hosting this one and will need all hands on deck to make sure it runs smoothly. The last few meets we have hosted have impressed me with how well we have worked together to offer a positive meet experience for the swimmers. Let’s keep that streak going Aquajets and have a fun Saturday of racing to wrap up September!
