COACH’S CORNER

The CAJ Autumn Aquatic Adventure on Saturday Sep 27 at the PV Pool is open for signups! Every Aquajet should plan on attending this meet. It is time to start getting back into racing and this is a great way to do so. Swimmers should plan on attending meets regularly to check-in on their progress, and to stay motivated. Athletes that don’t attend meets, have a strong chance of burning out. Also, since we are hosting this one, we will need all hands-on deck to make sure it runs smoothly. The last few meets we have hosted have impressed me with how well we have worked together to offer a positive meet experience for the swimmers. Our team store is open for the next 2 weeks! The team store is only open in windows, be sure to take advantage of the open window while you can. There is a bunch of great looking merch on the team store you do not want to miss out on. There’s even some new cold-weather merch that hasn’t been available in the past few open windows. Take your time to scroll through the options to see what you might be interested. It’s not too early for some holiday shopping. Here is the link to the Team Store.

Next week on Friday 9/26 CARD is hosting a Aquatics Gala Fundraiser. If you are interested in supporting CARD as they are going through the construction phase of the new aquatic facility, check out CARD’s webpage for the Midnight Tides: A Night Beneath the Waves Gala Fundraiser.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• Make sure your swimmer is USA Swimming registered (the link can be found in the “USA Swim Registration” section of the Old Business/Policies and Procedures doc)
• Make sure your swimmer brings a water bottle to every practice
