Good afternoon Aquajets,

What a great swim meet we had on Saturday. The swimmers had a bunch of good races, and the meet ran smoothly. A big thank you to everyone that volunteered their time to help us run such a successful meet. Wonderful job Aquajets!

COACH’S CORNER

Our team store closes in less than one day! The team store is only open in windows, be sure to take advantage of the open window while you can. There is a bunch of great looking merch on the team store you do not want to miss out on. There’s even some new cold-weather merch that hasn’t been available in the past few open windows. Take your time to scroll through the options to see what you might be interested. It’s not too early for some holiday shopping. Here is the link to the Team Store.

On Wednesday October 15 Chico High and Pleasant Valley High have their annual Fish Bowl swim meet. We will not be holding practices on this day, instead the plan for the afternoon is to go over to the PV Pool (2320 North Ave) and cheer at the Fish Bowl. This is a fun event to support our high school swimmers and to show our younger swimmers what a high school meet is like.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

  • Make sure your swimmer is USA Swimming registered (the link can be found in the “USA Swim Registration” section of the Old Business/Policies and Procedures doc)
  • Make sure your swimmer brings a water bottle to every practice
