OKOTOKS MAVERICKS SWIMMING

All swimmers are now confirmed on group placement for the new season. The Registration package for the new season will be sent out in August by our Registrar Kirsti Kohn. Please watch your in-boxes for the package. Registration must be completed by the membership between the 1st-8th September, 2024. Stay tuned for all the details.

Please take the time to navigate your way around the website, which should answer any questions you may have. However, if you cannot find the answer, please do not hesitate to contact your swimmers' coach, the Head Coach or one of the board of directors.

WESTERN CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

21^st – 24^th March, 2024

Congratulations to Wells, Alex, Lucy, Mackenzie, Mikayla and Rylee on a very successful Western Canadian Nationals. We came away with 6 medals and several Top 8 and Top 16 swims. We ranked 18^th overall out of 67 clubs. There were also 4 new club records broken and several new Olympic Trials, Canadian Junior National and Canadian Senior National Qualifying times achieved & re-achieved. Very proud how all the swimmers who stepped up and gave their very best for the end of the 2^nd cycle.

Everyone gets to have a much-deserved Spring Break away from the pool now (starting Friday 29^th March until Sunday 7^th April)

Lucy Wiens (15) broke her own 15-16 age group records and overall club records in the 50 Back in 29.75, 50 Free in 27.22 and 100 Back in 1:05.02

Mackenzie Hurd (17) broke her own record in the 17 & over 50 Free in 27.83
