SUMMER PROVINCIALS

25^th – 28^th JULY, 2024

Congratulations to the 21 swimmers that qualified and competed at Summer Provincials.   We had a very exciting and successful final competition of the season.  We had a total of 67 Final swims, 19 Medals and many Top 10 and Top 20 Final swims.

Congratulations to our graduate swimmers on their last competition as a Maverick as they venture pastures new in the west coast 

Wells Ginzer is heading to Vancouver to attend UBC to study Economics and swim with the Varsity team.   Before this, however, Wells will be heading ‘down under’ to swim for Team Canada in Canberra, Australia at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships.  (Stay tuned to the Mavericks facebook page about details)

Mackenzie Hurd is heading to Victoria to attend UVic to study Engineering and swim with the varsity team (Mackenzie will return to swim with Mavericks through the summer when she finishes her 1^st year)

Keton Murphy is heading to the interior to UBC-Kelowna to study Engineering.   (Keton was hoping to continue his swimming career but unfortunately, his school does not have a varsity team)
