Congratulations to Lucy who qualified and competed at a newly created short course national competition to replace Junior & Senior Nationals and Westerns Nationals.
“In a stacked field of incredibly fast national and international swimmers, Lucy delivered a lightning-fast performance in the 50m Backstroke, powering to the wall in an incredible 27.95 to claim the bronze medal, breaking an 11-year- old club record in the 17 and over girls and her own record in the overall club records. From the explosive start to the powerhouse finish, every stroke screamed determination and speed. This is the result of months of grit, grind and laser focus in training and today, it paid off in style. Congratulations Lucy”
