Swim Ontario Youth Junior Championships Meet Central 2024

Good Luck to our GO Swimmers attending the Swim Ontario Youth and Junior Championships!

 There is NO Pre Meet Swim in Markham - Wednseday am @ uOttawa is offered from 6:00-7:00am

 

1. Make sure you have all your Team Gear this weekend-always on unless swimming!

  • Team Caps-have extras--this is a mandatory piece of equipment.
  •  Team Shirts
  •  Other Team Paraphernalia-Stay warm in between events: Including wearing shoes on your feet! 

2. Please arrive 25 minutes early to your scheduled warmups to avoid having to rush!

 

  • Final warm up times and lane assignements will be posted when they are made availble by Swim Ontario.
  • All swimmers must check in with coaching staff upon arrival at each session of the competition and at the end of each session of the competition.
  • Finals - all swimmers are expected to be at finals if/once they qualify; including Relays.

3.  Seeding of Meet Based on Times:

  • All SCM times were converted to LCM with the exception of distance - know your best LC times!
  • All SCM submitted entries for the distance events will be changed to the following
  1. A LCM qualifying time within the qualifying period for the swimmer
  2. If no LCM time within the qualifying period, the swimmer will be entered at the LCM qualifying time for their age group.
