Brun, Duford, Quan, and Wang Splash into OJI FUNdamentals Camp

NKB’s Marcus Brun, Jessica Duford, Eleanor Quan, and Simon Wang had some fun at the annual OJI FUNdamentals camp at the Toronto Pan Am Center.

Each year, Swim Ontario hosts a FUNdamentals camp for youth athletes in conjunction with the Ontario Junior International (OJI).  OJI is arguably one of the most elite short course competitions held annually and can be very exciting to watch - we regularly see swimmers at this meet who have been or rise to becoming Olympians for Team Canada.  The OJI Fundamentals Clinic is an event hosted between prelims and finals of the meet for 100 youth from around the province.  It is a fantastic swim clinic to work on technical aspects of swimming, instructed by many of the leading coaches from around the province.

NKB’s swimmers were nominated to participate in the event based on performance, work ethic, attitude, and their growth mindset towards technical work with coaches.
