Coach Heather Collaborating on Inaugural Women in Coaching Cohort

Coach Heather, along with nine other leading Canadian female coaches, have been selected to collaborate in the inaugural Women in Coaching Cohort.  These women are skilled coaches who have experience working with national level athletes, emphasize the importance of whole-athlete development approaches from fundamental to elite levels, and recognize the importance of empowering coaches, particularly female coaches, to be able to foster the success of both individual athletes and Canadian swimming as a whole.  Joined by the female members of the Canadian Swim Coaches Association’s Women in Coaching Committee and other leading experts in each respective field, they will navigate topics such as communication, leadership, people development and human resources.
