Mighty Barracudas Win Eastern Region Championships

Your Mighty Barracudas are the 2024 Eastern Ontario Champions!  This past weekend was full of Mighty good racing where the Barracudas stepped up race after race to earn the top team award at the 2024 Eastern Ontario Winter Regional Championships. 

They showed they can rise to the occasion as they leaned into their first heats and finals races. They showed true grit as they swam back to back races.  The 10&Unders took GOLD in every single relay competed in their age category, for the second year in a row.  Marcus Brun broke the 50 FLY record. Countless swimmers turned in personal bests and earned their places at provincial level competitions.  They did this in events ranging from the 50 FR to the 200 FLY to the 400 IM to the 1500 FR!  A true testament to the physical and technical growth fostered by our coaches through an approach focused on all-around development.  The Mighty Barracudas proved they were a force to be reckoned with!  Congratulations!
