NKB proudly announces that Kate Sullivan, Ilyes Soltani, and Deniz Capraz were selected to attend Swim Ontario's Stage 3 Canada Games Development Camp.

The Canada Games, held every two years, are Canada's largest multi-sport event and represent the highest level of provincial and territorial competition. Since 1967, they have been a launchpad for Canada's future Olympians, world champions, and sports leaders.

The Stage 3 Camp is a critical step in the pathway toward selection for Ontario's final Canada Games team. Invitations to the camp were based on athletes' current rankings in Ontario, reflecting each swimmer's performance against the very best in the province.

Kate Sullivan was invited because of her standout performances in sprint freestyle events. She proudly represents NKB's female athletes at the highest level. As a club, we are deeply committed to promoting and growing opportunities for young women in competitive swimming, and Kate is setting a powerful example for others to follow.

Ilyes Soltani earned his spot through his excellence in breaststroke, showcasing the technical strength and racing skills fostered through NKB's comprehensive training model.

Deniz Capraz qualified based on his prowess in distance freestyle events, demonstrating endurance, mental toughness, and smart race strategy—all core pillars of our long-term athlete development philosophy.

Having swimmers invited across multiple event specialties—sprint, breaststroke, and distance highlights the NKB program's overall strength and versatility.

Selection to represent Ontario at the Canada Games is highly competitive and requires sustained hard work, focus, and adherence to elite performance standards. We encourage all our swimmers to continually push their limits, stay committed, and pursue their goals.

Congratulations to Kate, Ilyes, and Deniz on this outstanding achievement so far! Your NKB family is proud to be cheering you on every step of the way.
