NKB’s Julie Brousseau Inducted into the Nepean Sports Hall of Fame

October 25, 2025

At NKB, we believe that excellence is built through connection, character, and community — and Julie Brousseau is a living testament to what that philosophy can achieve.

Julie’s journey from our local pool decks to the 2024 Paris Olympics has inspired countless young swimmers to dream big, work smart, and believe in their potential. Her induction into the Nepean Sports Hall of Fame is more than a personal achievement — it’s a celebration of what’s possible when commitment meets opportunity.

Julie’s rapid rise through Canadian swimming includes standout performances at the 2023 Pan American Games, where she struck gold in both the 400 Individual Medley and 4x100 Freestyle Relay, and at the World Junior Championships, where she earned seven medals across multiple events. Her remarkable 11-medal performance at the 2022 Canada Summer Games tied an all-time record, cementing her as one of Ontario’s brightest stars.

Beyond the medals, Julie continues to give back — volunteering at hometown meets, encouraging young athletes with photos, autographs, and stories from her early NKB days.

Her story reminds us that greatness doesn’t happen overnight — it’s built one practice, one race, and one act of leadership at a time.

Congratulations, Julie — your NKB family couldn’t be prouder.
