NKB Athletes Experience World-Class Racing at the Toronto World Cup
October 28, 2025
The world stage came to Canada — and three of our Mighty Barracudas dove right in.
Jordan Schaepper, Arthur Galiano, and Ilyes Soltani represented NKB at the Toronto leg of the World Aquatics World Cup, gaining invaluable experience competing alongside some of the fastest swimmers on the planet.
While this event typically features elite international athletes, Canada’s role as host nation opened a unique opportunity for select developing swimmers to race in additional heats — a rare chance to feel the energy, intensity, and professionalism of world-class competition firsthand.
And our Barracudas rose to the occasion.
-
Jordan Schaepper delivered standout performances, placing 3rd all-time in NKB history for the 400 Free and 2nd all-time for the 400 IM, while also racing the 200 Fly.
-
Arthur Galiano made a powerful statement in the breaststroke events — setting three new NKB club records and holding 1st all-time marks in the 50, 100, and 200 Breast.
-
Ilyes Soltani also took on the 200 Breast, embracing the moment and contributing to an inspiring team presence on deck.
For all three athletes, the World Cup was more than just a meet — it was a taste of what’s possible through dedication, courage, and love for the sport.
At NKB, we believe that growth happens when opportunity meets preparation — and our swimmers continue to prove that they’re ready when it counts.
