PCSC Swimmer of the Month
September 2025
SENIOR A: Jadyn Dagsaan
Jadyn has started the year off with a real bang. She has quickly gotten herself up to speed this season and has been very diligent in her work both inside the pool as well as on land. Really a positive difference maker to start the training block off well. Only good things can come from that - keep up the great start Jadyn!!
SENIOR B: Katarina Lindsay
Katarina Lindsey has shown incredible dedication and consistency this month, both in and out of the pool. She approaches every practice with focus and a positive attitude, always looking for ways to improve her technique and challenge herself. Katarina’s steady progress and willingness to push through tough sets have set a great example for her teammates. Her effort, and coachability make her a well-deserved choice for Swimmer of the Month.
JUNIOR A: Catherine Lapointe
Catie has used the beginning of the season to reset her standards and expectations for her swimming. She has been consistent and very engaged in her skill set improvement and is well on her way to having a great season. Congrats Catie on getting your season off to an amazing start!!!
JUNIOR B: Yi Cui
Congratulations to Yi on being named Swimmer of the Month! She’s had an impressive start to the season, staying engaged and working hard on every kick set while taking her skills to the next level. Awesome job, Yi ! Keep it up!
JUNIOR C: Hanna Bourbeau
Hanna has been doing an amazing job this season. Her attendance is amazing and she does a great job applying corrections to her strokes. Great job Hanna!
SPORT-ÉTUDES (Étienne Paquet): Sarah Nelson
Great Job so far Sarah, You have been doing a great job. You've been working very hard and very focus. most of all you have been very consistent and that is a key part of long-term success!. Keep up the good work!!!
SPORT-ÉTUDES (Stephanie Shewchuk): Chase Miller
Chase has been showing up for every practice with a great attitude and a smile on his face. He takes instruction well and he had been performing at a level that we are all proud of. Way to go Chase!!!
AGE GROUP A: Jacob Roberts and Olivia Hamilton
This month, Jacob and Olivia, have been doing a phenomenal job! They have both been working very hard on their technique. They listen and apply corrections very well. They are setting an excellent example to their peers with their hard work and attention to detail. Great job Jacob and Olivia!
AGE GROUP B: Florence Paquette and Kevin Wang
Florence and Kevin have had a great start to the season! Despite this being their first year in the age group program, they are adjusting well to the group. They have both established themselves as leaders, listening well and working hard on their technique. Awesome work Florence and Kevin!
AGE GROUP C: Dashiell Kabal-Baker
Although it only being one month into the season, Dash has already proved what a hardworking and dedicated swimmer he is. He is always listening and applying the corrections given to him and always has a positive attitude when coming to practice. Great work Dash, keep it up!
BOUT DE CHOU 1A: Finn Forrest
Finn has been doing an amazing job so far this season. After finishing last season so strong he is starting this year fabulously. I am so proud of the leader he is becoming in the group. Finn is present at every practice and always tries his best. He is a positive influence on his peers and full of team spirit! Keep up the great work Finn.
BOUT DE CHOU 1B: Chloe Syvret
Chloe has had such an amazing start to the season! She's put in so much work in all parts of practice and is setting a great example in dryland by applying corrections and trying her best. I am so proud of Chloe for all the great work she's put in this month and can't wait to see how she continues to grow as a swimmer! Great work Chloe!
BOUT DE CHOU 1C: Amelia Magee
Amelia has started off the season so well! Having been to every practice so far, Amelia is always striving to do her best and to encourage her teammates. She is often the loudest cheerer during relays and always comes to practice with a smile on her face! I am so proud of how much she's improved her freestyle breathing and how dedicated she is to improve her freestyle kick endurance. Keep up the amazing work Amelia!
BOUT DE CHOU 1D: Olivia Havas
Olivia has been such a wonderful addition to the Pointe Claire family! New to PCSC this year Olivia is keen to learn and is constantly striving to improve. She has attended each practice we've had so far and works hard each time. I cannot wait to see Olivia improve over the course of this year! Congratulations Olivia!
BOUT DE CHOU 2A: Yixuan (Angel) Zhang
Angel stood out this month for her great listening, support of her teammates, and strong work ethic. She brings focus and positivity to every practice, helping lift the energy and effort in the group! Congrats Angel!
BOUT DE CHOU 2B: Eric Jiachen Pan
Eric has started off the season as a great leader in our group. Always ready and eager to get in, Eric 's love for swimming is infectious and fuels the group! Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see you progress all season.
BOUT DE CHOU 2C: Aurora Ji
Aurora has had a great start to the season, already demonstrating her hard work and attention to detail. She is always super focused on the drills we are doing, making sure she gives it her best effort. Congratulations Aurora, it's going to be a great season!
BOUT DE CHOU 2D: Maïa Khlifi
Maïa has been selected this month for her excellent listening skills, thoughtful questions, and application of technical corrections. Her consistent effort and attention to detail have driven noticeable improvement in her swimming, congrats Maïa!
BOUT DE CHOU 2E: Ava Juneau
In only her first few weeks here at Pointe-Claire, Ava has already improved tremendously. She not only applies corrections during practice but carries those corrections over to every practice going forward. She is focused, and always ready to learn and improve. Keep up the great work Ava!
BOUT DE CHOU 2F: Mathilda Felicitas Becerra
Brand new to the Pointe Claire swim club, Mathlida has brough contagious energy to the pool deck. She comes to practice ready to learn and excited to get into the water. Her visible love for the sport has made her an incredible team leader. Great job Mathlida!
BOUT DE CHOU 3A: Cameron Giles
Cameron has had an excellent start to the season! With his 100% attendance, he's always trying to lead the lane and is always on task. Cameron's dedication and team spirit are infectious and are showing him to be a leader in the group. Great job Cameron!
BOUT DE CHOU 3B: Teresa Yu
Teresa is off to such an amazing start this season! She shows up to every practice with awesome energy and a positive attitude. She's super eager to learn and always works hard to improve. Fantastic job Teresa!
BOUT DE CHOU 3C: Alycia Sansregret
This month, Alycia has been doing a fantastic job! She always comes to practice with a smile and a great attitude. She is a kind and positive swimmer who listens carefully, works hard, and is always eager to learn. Her enthusiasm and encouragement make her a wonderful teammate to have on deck. Keep it up, Alycia!
BOUT DE CHOU 3D: Alice Xu
Alice is starting the season off strong! This month she's been an excellent listener and has been a silent leader amongst the group. She's shown great improvement already and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for her. Keep up the great work Alice!
BOUT DE CHOU 3E: Mia Zheng
Mia has kicked off the season on such a great note! She's already showing tons of dedication and always brings her best attitude to practice. Plus, that big smile never goes unnoticed! Amazing job Mia! Keep it up!
BOUT DE CHOU 3F: Wenxin Niu
This month, Wenxin has been doing an excellent job! She has already shown great improvement and always listens carefully to feedback. Wenxin is kind, hardworking, and focused on getting better each week. Her positive attitude and dedication make her a great example for others. Keep it up, Wenxin!
