PCSC Swimmer of the Month

October 2025

 

SENIOR A: Justine Lapierre

Having gotten over some early season injury issues to start the season, Justine has been on a really good path in October. She has worked tirelessly to improve her efficiency, and this has had an incredible knock on effect on her aerobic work. Keep up the great training Justine!

 

SENIOR B: Yaniv Bolyasni

Congratulations to Yaniv Bolyansi for being named Swimmer of the Month! Yaniv has truly shined this past month with his dedication, hard work, and exceptional performance in the pool. Not only has Yaniv shown impressive skill in his strokes, but his ability to push through tough training sessions and support his teammates has made him a standout athlete. Yaniv’s consistency and drive continue to raise the bar for the entire team. Keep up the amazing work, Yaniv!

 

JUNIOR A: Philippe Charles Nikitin

Philippe has had an excellent month of October, on top of having a perfect attendance record, Philippe continues to be engaged in his technique and work ethic. His positive attitude is infectious within the group and his ability to work hard in all facets of the program is a true asset to his teammates. On top of all of that he continues to compete in Cross Country for his school and raced in the RSEQ Cross Country Provincial Championships on October 18th. Way to go Philippe!!!

 

JUNIOR B: Adele Van Loon

Adele works extremely hard and consistently leads her lanes, setting a great example for others with her determination and effort. She approaches every practice with focus, consistency, and a drive to improve.

Fantastic work, Adele! Keep leading the way!

 

JUNIOR C: Brielle Lauzon

Brielle is always ready and eager to get into the pool every day and give 100% effort. She's always ready for whatever challenge that may present itself in practice.

 

SPORT-ÉTUDES (Stephanie Shewchuk): Logan MacLeod

Logan has been a great addition to the Sport Étude program this season! He recently had an injury to his ankle and stayed engaged and committed while he was healing. His enthusiasm and great attitude are contagious. He is a wonderful team mate and athlete and I look forward to watching him evolve over the coming year! Congratulations Logan!

 

AGE GROUP A: Delfina Di Lauro and Alexis Sansregret

Delfina and Alexis have had an amazing month! They continue to impress us by their work ethic. They are eager to improve, ask great questions and are fantastic teammates. They never step down from a challenge and we can't wait to see how they do at the upcoming swim meets. Great job, Delfina and Alexis! Keep up the good work!

 

AGE GROUP B: Ailys Tremblay and Sonny Bolanis

Ailys has consistently improved her performance both in and out of the pool. She has strong attendance, works hard, and shows a clear commitment to developing her skills and overall performance. Ailys demonstrates dedication to training and sets a positive example for those around her. Keep up the great work, Ailys!

Sonny maintained excellent attendance and consistently put in hard work both in and out of the pool. His passion and dedication to swimming were clearly reflected in the personal best times he achieved in his events at the most recent competition. His steady commitment to improving his skills and performance is truly impressive. Keep up the outstanding work, Sonny!

 

AGE GROUP C: Scarlett Lauzon

Scarlett is a dedicated swimmer who always gives her best effort in and out of the pool. No matter the challenge, she shows up ready to learn, improve, and support her teammates. Her consistent hard work is a reflection of her strong commitment, positive attitude, and love for the sport. Congrats Scarlett, keep up the good work!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 1A: Carley Chen

Carley has had an exceptional start to the season. She is always on task and focused on her technical development. She is a wonderful leader in the group. All of her hard work is paying off with amazing technique both in practice and at our first meet! Congratulations Carley keep up the fantastic work!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 1B: Clara Piper-Chang

Clara has been working incredibly hard, and her positive attitude on deck makes such a meaningful impact on the entire team. She shows dedication, kindness, and a real drive to improve every single day. I am so proud of her progress, and I can’t wait to see what else she accomplishes moving forward!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 1CSpencer Harrop

Spencer has been working so hard this month, especially on improving his breaststroke. He takes corrections with a smile and applies them right away, which shows real maturity and dedication. I’m so proud of the effort he has put in and I’m excited to see his continued progress!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 1D: Diana Dobrovolska

Diana has been such an amazing addition to our club. We are lucky to have her as a part of our team! She brings such as positive energy to the pool. She has attended every single practice and stayed focused on doing her best throughout! She even participated in her first ever swim meet this month! Keep up the awesome work Diana! Very proud of you!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 2B: Zilu Wang

Zilu has started this season strong! She is ready to work hard every day and always willing to take corrections. Her hard work has already started to pay off, when she has amazing swims at our first meet. Keep up the great work Zilu!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 2C: Millicent Kabal-Baker

Millie comes to the pool everyday ready to work hard. She is always extremely focused when she is in the water, working so closely on her technique. Her efforts paid off this month, where she had great swims at this seasons first swim meet! Congratulations Millie!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 2E: Aiwen Du

Aiwen has been a great addition to our PCSC team! She comes to practice with a smile and has become an amazing leader in our group. She is actively seeking ways she can improve and is working hard at implementing her corrections. Keep up the great work Aiwen!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 2F: Yuchong Huang

Only two months into being a PCSC swimmer, Yuchong has demonstrated his strong work ethic and dedication. He is always working his hardest at every practice, and has been a great teammate to his friends. Way to go Yuchong!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 3A: Aiden Baker

Aiden has had an amazing start to the season. He's always eager to get in the water, is always trying his best to improve and his team spirit is infections. Keep up the good work Aiden!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 3B: Skylor Hong

Skylor has shown so much improvement already! He brings great energy to every practice and always gives his full effort. He listens, applies corrections, and it’s been awesome to watch his progress. Amazing work, Skylor — keep it up!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 3CLukas (Zhuoyi) Lu

Lukas has been doing an incredible job this month! He always shows up with a positive attitude and plenty of energy, ready to focus and improve. He listens carefully to corrections and works hard to put them into practice. His dedication, enthusiasm, and team spirit have really made him stand out. Keep it up, Lukas!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 3D: Michael Ingov

Michael has already showed great improvement this season. This month he's shown great listening skills, has become a leader in the group and has been putting a lot of effort into every practice. Great work Michael!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 3E: Tess Ainsworth

Tess has been doing an incredible job this month! She always shows up with a big smile and a great attitude, and she’s consistently eager to learn and try her best. Lately, she’s also been stepping up and leading her lane more, which has been awesome to see. Keep it up, Tess!

 

BOUT DE CHOU 3F: Joshua Grégoire

Josh has been doing an awesome job this month! He’s been stepping up and leading his lane with confidence, focusing on his technique, and giving his best at every practice. His dedication and positive attitude have really stood out. Keep up the great work Josh!
