Officiating with with Pointe-Claire Swim Club
Our coaches and staff work tirelessly to give our athletes the best experience possible—but it takes more than just them. Volunteering and officiating are at the heart of how our swim team operates. Whether it’s timing at a meet or helping at events, your contributions make it possible for our children to compete, grow, and thrive in a positive community. Together, we build not just strong swimmers, but a culture that supports every athlete’s journey. Thank you for being part of that.

Why Volunteering is Important
Volunteering is critical to the success of PCSC as it allows us to provide the best possible experience for our athletes, both in and out of the pool. From helping at competitions to organizing events and supporting fundraising efforts, volunteers make it possible for our programs to run smoothly and affordably. The commitment of our parents, families, and community members not only keeps the team operating efficiently, but also helps build a strong, supportive environment where every swimmer can thrive. Simply put, without volunteers, our team could not function at the high level we do today.
Massive effort has been put in by our staff to plan out a full competition calendar that reduces the overall cost of competition, offers new and fun competition opportunities while still allowing for high performances, and has a better weekend balance for families. For us to be successful we are counting on everyone’s support in our effort to provide the best environment possible for the PCSC athletes.
While coaches and staff go above and beyond to provide the best possible experience for our athletes, it’s important to remember that being part of this club is a two-way street; parents also share the responsibility to contribute their time and support to help the team thrive.
Volunteering Opportunities
1. Officiating at our PCSC competitions
Earn your volunteer credits by supporting our hosted competitions this season! Officiating not only gives you the best seat in the house, but it also plays a vital role in ensuring we can deliver high-quality competitions for our athletes. Your involvement makes a real difference in creating the best experience possible for all swimmers.
2. Joining the Board of Directors or any of our committees. Click here for more information
By volunteering for a committee, you’ll have the chance to be at the forefront of the planning process, share your experience, and help shape the programs and opportunities that benefit all our athletes. It’s a great way to make a meaningful impact while being part of the team behind the team!
