What are the WGB tryouts?

Our tryouts are open to athletes ages 6 – 18 who are able to swim 50 meters (2 lengths) of freestyle unassisted and without stopping.
  • All athletes that meet this standard will be invited to tryout
  • Athletes will be assessed on their swimming capacity, technique and speed
  • The number of new swimmers to be welcomed into the club for that following season. Numbers will be dependent on the available space in each group within the club
  • Please note that trying out does not guarantee membership
