OFFICIATING & PARENT REQUIREMENTS: 2024

Swim meets cannot happen without the support from our parent volunteers. It is important to ensure that you have the necessary certifications to volunteer on the swimming pool deck.  The Club offers various training throughout the year- Check our 'Events Calendar' page for more details.

The required volunteer officiating commitments per athlete to be provided to the Whitehorse Glacier Bears Swim Club by the athlete’s parents and/or guardians.

Officiating is a mandatory requirement for our Whitehorse Glacier Bear members as swim meets at our pool require a minimum of 30 officials at various levels of certification for our athletes race times to be officially recorded and accepted by Swim Canada.
