Athlete safety remains our core principle at Paseo Aquatics. Together with the California Department of Justice, CANRA, USA Swimming and the National SafeSport Center, we work to provide a training environment free of any and all forms of abuse.

Abuse includes bullying, harassment, hazing, physical abuse, emotional abuse and sexual misconduct of any nature. This page contains resources for day-to-day issues critical to keeping our athletes safe, reporting abuse incidents, policy changes and where families can be directed to learn more about these matters.

What does Safe Sport mean? Across the spectrum of all sports lies concerns where personal boundaries between peers and coach-athlete relationships can be crossed. Paseo Aquatics is recognized by USA Swimming as a Safe Sport Compliant Program. In short, Paseo Aquatics has met and exceeded all protocols set forth by USA Swimming to assure Vigilance and Proactive corrective measures with respect to minor abuse.

Please contact Paseo's Safe Sport Coordinator, Kelly Zancanaro, at [email protected] with questions or concerns.
