Jay Wolf, along with co-founder Chris Dahowski, formed the Paseo Aquatics Swim Team in 2014, after constructing the club from its infancy at The Paseo Club in 2010. Jay's marketing and sports background helped build the foundation to what has become one of the premier USA-Swimming Sanctioned clubs in Southern California.

As a young athlete, Jay played tennis at the Junior National level and competed for the University of Miami, Florida. He later transitioned to football, where he spent several years as a semi-pro quarterback. Jay enjoyed a 25-year stint as a screenwriter, earning credits for both feature films and television, before utilized his creative talents to build a marketing career in Sports Nutrition and, later, competitive swimming.

Jay's foray into the swim world came in 2007, when his youngest daughter, Julia, found a passion for the water and a talent still untapped. Seeking a coach for Julia, Jay crossed paths with Coach Chris in 2010, leading them both on a journey that would see the launch of Paseo Aquatics-- and Julia qualify for the 2017 World Trials.

Jay was raised in the northeast, and currently resides in Valencia with his soon-to-be wife, Kelly.
