MATT BIONDI SWIM CLINIC
Thank you ALL for making the MATT BIONDI SWIM CLINIC a monster success!
We had a fantastic turnout for the event, which could not have proved more worthwhile from an instructional standpoint as well as an environment and energy that was nothing short of electric.
Matt worked in the water with all 40 of our swimmers, took time to pose for a photo with each one-- and even called out a few for a final race with an Olympian! His motivational speech was very informative and thought-provoking-- and he capped a perfect morning by taking the time to sign autographs for everyone.

PASEO AQUATICS SPEEDO GEAR
Our Speedo gear is in-- at least the suits (most of them) and the swim bags. Sweats will arrive next week. Caps the week after.
If you were unable to pick up your gear at the Parka fitting on Saturday, please see me before or after practice today. I will be handing out all the remaining gear on deck.
PASEO AQUATICS PARKA FITTING
The Paseo Aquatics Parka Fitting took place immediately following the Matt Biondi clinic from 12 Noon-2PM on Saturday.
If, for whatever reason, you were unable to make the fitting and still want to order a Parka, please visit the Conejo Swimworks store to place your order.
TEAM PASTA DINNER
Reminder: there will be a Paseo Aquatics team pasta dinner on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th at 7:00PM in the Paseo Club's WHITE TENT next to Stadium Court.
The dinner is open to all COMPETING SWIMMERS and their FAMILIES.
There is NO COST for this event. This dinner is being Sponsored by the Paseo Aquatics staff as a way of saying Thank You for your continued support-- and to launch our season opener in style.
Coaches will use the dinner to answer any last questions leading up to the next day's competition-- and to carb-up and pump up an already excited team of swimmers.
TEAM MEETING
The next TEAM MEETING will be THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23rd at 6:00PM poolside (at the Starting Block end of the pool) or in the Paseo Clubhouse.
Most of the meeting will focus on this weekend's RIO MESA SWIM MEET opener, and how we will conduct ourselves heading into the event.
Canopy set-up, warm-up times, event schedules etc will all be discussed. We will also cover the BUENAVENTURA swim meet (Nov. 2, 3), which will take place the very next weekend.
BUENAVENTURA SWIM MEET - NOVEMBER 2nd, 3rd
By now, all Paseo Aquatics swimmers should have met with their Coaches to finalize their entries into the DAVID GRAHAM SWIM MEET at BUENAVENTURA SWIM CLUB in VENTURA.
This event takes place the weekend immediately following the Rio Mesa meet-- and will be twice the size!
Our team entry has already been submitted. But there is still time to add a late swimmer to the meet if you have not yet had an opportunity to complete your entry.
Buenaventura is one of the FASTEST pools we will compete in all year. All Paseo swimmers are strongly encouraged to compete.
