North American Cup Challenge

Chris Dahowski

Hello team.

As I sit here this evening I feel like a part of me is missing. As we were all in and around home today one standout swimmer Sonaly Wintermute got up early, boarded a plane and has traveled to Veracruz Mexico to represent Paseo Aquatics at the North American Cup Challenge.

For Sonaly and for Paseo Aquatics it represents the first time we compete in an international environment. I wish I could be there for her, but even if I was the coaches were chosen by USA swimming and I would not have been her coach. So, not only is a part of me missing there is another part of me that is jealous and insecure.

For Sonaly and the Wintermute family, thank you. Words cannot say enough, so I hope I display it in my actions. I am so very proud.

To the Paseo Aquatics family take a moment to wish Sonaly well.

Sonaly, I promise you if you don't focus on the moment of this meet and stay far more focused on your journey you will be, no matter, one step ahead of your competition. Go out there race! Do what we know, do what we do. Hear my voice, as I have always said. You are not alone in your race Sonaly, I'm with you!!!

Go do it!!!

Coach Chris.
