PVST SWIM MEET
Congratulations to each and every Paseo Aquatics swimmer who competed this weekend-- it was a fantastic turnout for the opening meet of the 2014/15 season!
Kudos to COACH MIKAELA and COACH SEAN for their hard work all weekend - and to COACH CHRIS who made the trip out on Sunday.
The team saw Personal Bests, newcomers participating in a swim meet for the very first time, and a team spirit and unity that remains the foundation of our young program.

2ND ANNUAL PASEO PIGSKIN PICNIC - THIS SUNDAY - 12 NOON-4PM!
The 2ND ANNUAL PASEO FOOTBALL GAME and PICNIC will be held this SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH from 12:00 NOON - 4:00PM.
The site will be same as last year-- CHESEBOROUGH PARK-- on the corner of McBEAN PKWY and SUNSET HILLS in the North Park area.
The event is now posted on the PASEO AQUATICS WEBSITE along with a JOB SIGN-UP.
Go to our Paseoaquatics.org website. Look under EVENTS. Click on TEAM FUNCTIONS. Click on PASEO PIGSKIN PICNIC.
Please make certain you COMMIT to this event so we can gather an accurate headcount.
The Job Sign-Up allows each family to indicate what FOOD, BEVERAGE or PICNIC ITEM (Paper Plates, Napkins, Tables, Etc) each family will be providing for the event.
If you are bringing FOOD or DRINKS, please bring enough to serve 8-10 PEOPLE.
The football game will be FLAG, with everyone (swimmers and family members) having an opportunity to play-- and the picnic POT LUCK, so bring whatever family recipes you deem delicious.
Last year we had a fantastic turnout-- and with the size of the team this year, we expect nothing less than a spectacular day of food and gridiron fun.
TEAM MEETING - THIS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH - 5:00PM!
There will be a VERY important meeting held this WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH, 5:00PM at the CASTAIC AQUATICS COMPLEX.
Paseo Aquatics is bringing in three very special guests:
STEVE MUNATONES - A 30 year Ambassador to the sport of swimming who is responsible for forming the Open Water competition as an Olympic event.
DR. JAMES STRAY-GUNDERSEN - A 6-times Olympiad Physician who has treated many of the top USA Olympic athletes.
REBECCA SONI - Need we say more...?
