Class Cancellation Policy

  • Please know KATY Aquatics rents our pool space from Katy ISD. This means there may be times where we need to cancel or combine classes in order to accommodate Katy ISD or inclement weather.
  • We reserve the right to combine/cancel any class at any time. In the event KATY Aquatics cancels a class, you will either be offered a makeup class, or you will not be charged any fees for the class we cancel.

Make-up Policy
Class participants register for classes, which meet on specific days and times.  Unless KATY Aquatics cancels a class due to hazardous conditions (lightening, pool problems, etc), attendance in scheduled classes is the responsibility of the participants.  We do not provide refunds, make-up classes, or allow the participant to attend a different class due to personal schedule conflicts. We will offer make up classes to swimmers who miss their lessons due to illness, injury, family emergency, or religious purposes. Please contact [email protected] if your swimmer misses a class due to one of those reasons. You can see the full policy below.

Makeup Policy

  • Unless KATY Aquatics cancels a class due to hazardous conditions, weather, or KISD, attendance in scheduled classes is the responsibility of the participants.
  • We do NOT provide refunds, makeup classes or allow the participant to attend a different class due to personal schedule conflicts.
  • While we understand that illness cannot be predicted, please understand the spot has been reserved for your child and cannot be booked by another student with such short notice.
  • If you miss a class due to an illness, you must provide a doctor’s note to the office in order to request a credit back for the class due to illness.
  • If you are missing a lesson due to illness/injury, family emergency (for ex. a birth or death), or for a religious purpose and you would like a make-up class, please contact us either through email or by speaking with your site supervisor on deck. Make-up lessons without a doctor's note will be limited to 2 classes per month and will need to be completed within 30 days of the missed lesson. If your swimmer needs to be out for an extended period of time due to illness or injury, please provide a doctor's note.

Registration & Tuition Fees

  • Tuition is charged on a monthly basis in advance and will vary based upon the number of classes available in a calendar month ($20.00 per class for group lessons and special needs lessons).
  • Once you are enrolled, your child or children will be in lessons until we receive written notice indicating otherwise for group lessons, adult lessons, or special needs lessons.
  • Your first payment is due at the time of registration and payments will be automatically withdrawn from your account on the first business day of the month for group lessons, adult lessons, and special needs lessons.
  • A registration fee of $60 per child is required and is paid once every 12 months for group lessons, adult lessons, and special needs lessons. The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • You may change your child(ren)’s regular class day or time at any time as long as there is space in another class. To request your class change, please email [email protected]. All requests must be in an email format in order to formally change your child’s class schedule.
