CUDA Fundraising Policy
The Front Range Barracuda Swim Club (CUDA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and a member of USA Swimming. Dues pay only a portion of the team’s expenses - with your help and contributions we can keep our fees low and our program’s quality high. Swim fees alone cannot cover all of the expenses of CUDA: all coaches' salaries, travel expenses, training expenses, pool supplies, etc. are the responsibility of the team. To supplement the income expenses of the team we must ALL be active and contribute to our fundraising efforts.
There is 1 WAY that you can get a $50 credit on your account per season!!!
Be an Official - front row view of your kids swimming and after you work your required sessions, we credit your account $50 for helping the team so much!! Thank you!!

Fundraising Opportunities
Safeway Cards - Reloadable
Safeway cards can be purchased through the Fundraising Coordinator - you purchase a $25 gift card for $25. The cards are reloadable at the store. Keep your card in your wallet and use it for all purchases at Safeway - including gas!!.
When I get to the register I take a quick look at my cart and determine how much I think it will cost. Before the cashier begins ringing up my order I hand her the gift card and ask her “can I put $200 [or whatever amount you choose] on this card?” The cashier takes the card and rings it up like a regular order.
The cashier then rings up your food like normal. You use the Safeway gift card to pay for the food. If the card doesn’t have enough funds on it you can pay the rest in cash, check or charge. If you have extra money on the card it stays on the card until you use it. The Safeway gift card can also be used for gasoline. Each time you reload the Safeway gift card there is a 5% rebate/donation to the team.
King Soopers
You connect your King Soopers Loyalty number to the Front Range Barracudas and PRESTO - your making money for the team!! King Soopers is giving away $2.5 million per quarter and they will divide the rebate by the number of charities participating and their % of money spent at King Soopers.

This is quarterly program - King Sooper will send us a report about how much we made in rebates/donations and how many families participated.

Annual Team CUDA Swim-A-Thon
For this once-a-year fundraiser, a swimmer swims as many lengths as possible (not to exceed
200) within 2 hours. Swimmers solicit pledges and or donations from family, friends and
neighbors (prior to the event) for the number of laps swam. Swimmers can swim and gather pledges/ donations from family, friends and neighbors. All personal or corporate matching pledges/ donations to CUDA are tax deductible and
we will issue receipts when requested.
