Team Wisconsin: Compete Beyond OCSC
Team Wisconsin gives swimmers the chance to represent our state in regional and zone-level competitions, racing alongside some of Wisconsin’s best. These events are run by coaches nominated from swim teams across the state, and registration is completed by families directly through the Team Wisconsin website.
OCSC swimmers may be eligible for these exciting meets:
-
Mid-States All-Star Meet
Held in early January, this 14-and-under all-star meet brings together top swimmers from Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio for a fast-paced weekend of competition and team spirit. Swimmers are selected for this team through an application process, which typically opens up in November. -
Central Zone Open Water Championships
Hosted each June at Lake Andrea in Pleasant Prairie, WI, this event features races from 1K to 5K in open water. While it’s at the same location as the Great Lakes Open Water Championships that OCSC participates in, this is a separate competition with its own qualifying standards and team structure. -
Central Zone 14U Championships
This long-course championship meet, held in late July or early August, offers top 14-and-under swimmers from across the Central Zone the chance to compete at a high level while representing Wisconsin. Currently, swimmers with a AAA time standard or above in any stroke are eligibale to register and attend. Registration for this event typically opens up in June.
